Rebecca is a force to be reckoned with. Having presented to over a million people at the age of 24, Rebecca is fearless and speaks vehemently about her passions of a better human future

In a time of massive cultural and societal change we need leaders to speak openly and honestly. In fact, Rebecca through her Institute for Tech Life Balance speaks freely regarding topics around education, politics, economy and technology. Believing it is beyond this binary narrative of ‘profit or planet’ we move into a sustainable system that puts people plus planet alongside prosperity, for all.

If this is our horizon then for her the question is surely, how can we design technology for healthy use towards this future?

Rebecca was one of my clients in early 2021. As she spoke about her work through the institute I admired her willingness and selflessness to her mission, resonating with her core message of education for individuals while systemic regulation through policy to providers.

While technology is here to stay, let's get real about the true cost and loss of real human connection, the proliferation of fake news, privacy issues and risks around social media and mental health.

Rebecca, tell us what is your mission?

Supporting human beings of all ages and organisations to create and design a better relationship with tech. To harness the energy and channel the attention to solve our biggest problems.

Why is it important to you?

We live in trouble and uncertain times.

It has never been so important AND possible to make a positive change in the world. We are on the verge of creating a more just, healthy and regenerative world. We just need to dare to construct new narratives beyond profit and consumption.

What has been the toughest part so far?

Creating this Institute of which it’s success is based in terms of meaning and value not just economic. While needing it to perform on a financial level to make the business sustainable.

What keeps you going?

Knowing that however this all turns out, I will have no regrets

How do we support WIB?

By making them visible! Women can feel there is not enough space for them, so seeing that there are many women "who can make it“ helps them to gain confidence to follow their vision.

What advice would you give others thinking of setting out on their path?

Do it while being scared. AND Listen to that silent voice inside your heart. It is always right,

Anything else to share:

I am passionate about creating a regenerative economy for all. Therefore my business choices are based on one question: Am I creating the most impact possible with everything I do?
